Tanzania Cashew — Why Origin Matters

Tanzania's southern coastal belt — Mtwara, Lindi and Masasi districts — produces cashews with a naturally high outturn (48–54 lbs per 80 kg bag) driven by the region's well-drained sandy loam soils and alternating wet/dry seasons. The cashew kernel is characteristically large, ivory-white and high in fat, making Tanzanian RCN among the most sought-after feedstock for cashew processors in India, Vietnam and Europe.

Whole, unshelled raw cashew nuts in jute bags. The standard product for cashew processors who shell, peel and grade in-country. Our RCN is aggregated from smallholder cooperatives and primary processors, cleaned and re-bagged before export.

Shelled, peeled and graded white whole kernels for the retail and food service market. Graded under the USDA/ACA classification system. Available vacuum-packed in tins or foodservice cartons.

Quality Control & Inspection

All cashew shipments are subject to independent pre-shipment inspection (SGS or equivalent) covering moisture, count, outturn and defect rates. We provide a full documentation package at loading: SGS inspection certificate, phytosanitary certificate, certificate of origin, packing list, commercial invoice and bill of lading. Fumigation certificate issued where required by the destination country.

Shipping & Logistics

RCN is shipped in 20-foot dry containers (24 MT). Kernels ship in 20-foot dry containers with approximately 18–20 MT per container depending on packing format. We handle all export documentation from Dar es Salaam. CIF to Rotterdam, Hamburg, Mumbai, Dubai, Singapore and other major ports on request.
